Residential fires are the biggest part of fire accidents and cause the largest loss of the property, it's very important to the fire protection that to find and control the residential fire early. III this paper, based on experiments it discusses the Smoke characteristics of four kinds standard fires in P.R.China and draws several principles during the fire detection.
