摘要：
In this paper, we approximate the Lorenz curve by piecewise quadratic interpolation and propose a method of estimating Gini index from grouped data. We apply this method to three actual grouped data to show the method is superior to rectangle rule and trapezoidal rule of estimating Gini index.
