摘要
In this article, magnetic properties of the perovskite GdCuO3 have been investigated by Monte Carlo simulation in the frame of the Ising model for different sizes of system. Interaction couplings have been calculated, phase diagrams of ground state have been established and the orthorhombic crystal structure has been deduced. Couplings of first, second and third order interactions were found respectively 71.016 K, 51.057 K and 26.805 K. The system is an antiferromagnetic order at the ground state. Simulation results showed that the Curie temperature T-C of GdCuO3 system is around 750 K. In addition, it has been observed that as the size of the lattice increases, critical temperature also increases. Based on the results this material could be considered a good candidate for applications requiring higher T-C values. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
