摘要
In this paper we propose important improvements to the most common image editing tools (namely the pencil, the magic wand and the lasso) that are implemented in most commercial image editing software. The improvements are based on a multi-scale segmentation approach that relieves the user from the exact definition of contours while obtaining an accurate result.
