A new solvothermal method of preparing VO2 nanosheets and petaloid clusters

摘要
VO2 nanosheets and petaloid clusters have been selectively prepared via a facile solvothermal method. The VO2 nanosheets were obtained from commercial V2O5 and absolute EtOH, while the petaloid clusters from self-synthesized V2O5 and absolute EtOH. Both the series products were calcined at different temperatures (613-773 K) under a high purity N-2 (99.999%) atmosphere to obtain VO2 (M) which exhibited a strong crystallographic transition around 341 K.
