摘要：

Building materials may be subject to degradation from contaminants introduced to the ground from industrial activities. It is well known that sulfates and acids affect concrete but uncertain as to how other contaminants may cause deterioration or enhance attack. This paper describes experimental and field studies intended to address these uncertainties.
