Intensity fluctuations of the Bessel-Gaussian beams propagating in turbulent atmosphere

摘要
This article is devoted to studying of statistical characteristics of intensity fluctuations of the fundamental Bessel-Gaussian optical beams propagating in turbulent atmosphere. Research of intensity fluctuations is developed by a method of the statistical moments, particularly, the behavior of the fourth-order coherence function of the optical radiation field is analyzed. The asymptotic solution for area of weak fluctuations of intensity is derived, using it calculations of a variance and spatial correlation function of intensity fluctuations of a fundamental Bessel-Gaussian optical beam in turbulent atmosphere are realized. The effect of relative easing of intensity fluctuations of a fundamental Bessel-Gaussian optical beam in comparison with the similar characteristic of a Gaussian optical beam is discovered. It is shown that intensity fluctuations of a fundamental Bessel-Gaussian optical beam are essentially non-uniform in cross-section of an optical beam. Spatial correlation function of intensity fluctuations of a fundamental Bessel-Gaussian optical beam within its first maximum is weakly sensitive to change of parameter of a Bessel optical beam.
