Increasing Efficiency of Contact Devices of Column Mass-Transfer Apparatuses When Using Thermal Fractionation Processes

摘要
The flow rates of phases of a mixture to be separated under thermal fractionation conditions are determined as a function of the ratio of the amount of heat removed from the top column plate and the total heat flux in the condenser and the reflux condenser. The results of calculations of the actual vapor flow rate inside the column for determining the options of heat distribution are presented. The characteristics of change in Murphree valve plate efficiency for reducing the amount of heat supplied to the column boiler are determined. Based on the investigation results the possibility of mass vapor flow rate reduction to the minimum when using thermal fractionation is determined.
