Chemical Fingerprinting of Wild Germplasm Resource of Ophiopogon Japonicus from Sichuan Basin, China by RP-HPLC Coupled with Hierarchical Cluster Analysis

摘要
High-performance liquid chromatography was employed in the fingerprint analysis of wild germplasm resources of Ophiopogon japonicus from Sichuan basin, China. Twenty-eight characteristic peaks in the 16 grants of Ophiopogon japonicus were determined in samples from different habitats. Their chromatographic patterns were generally consistent although their content of chemistry composition is greatly different. The results of hierarchical cluster analysis showed that the samples can be divided into 3 groups; it was able to select excellent resources from the groups. This was the first report of hierarchical cluster analysis of wild germplasm resource of Ophiopogon japonicus according to their chemical fingerprint.
