摘要
An original physical method of testing the adhesion of rubber to brass is presented. The measurement of reflection of ultrasonic waves on the brass-rubber interface was utilized to test the adhesion between both materials. The higher ultrasonic reflection, the better is the quality of adhesion. The ultrasonic method was verified by comparing with the standard mechanical test of adhesion (the two plate method). The results of both methods show close correlation.
