摘要：

Fast and convenient access to a map or a remotely sensed image is one of important features that GIS provide to users. TerraFly GIS has a Dispenser subsystem that serves this purpose. In an easy and intuitive way user can choose, mark and dispense satellite image or aerial photo of any size from TerraFly's seamless coverage of the continental United States. Besides the imagery, TerraFly's Dispenser allows the user to get textual geo-referenced data associated with dispensed image. Together with the image, this data gives the user a unique information package associated with the geographical area of interest. This appears to be important in many applications, for example in emergency preparedness of response teams.
