摘要：

Pressure-induced amorphization in scandium compounds undergoing negative thermal expansion was studied. A change in electrical resistance and structure of the material with increasing pressure was observed. Experimental analysis of pressure-induced disordering indicated that heating and structural collapse of the material was related to the mechanism of densification.
