On the large area nanoporous TiO2 films with an average pore diameter of 80nm, reversible wettability switch between high hydrophobicity [contact angle (CA) about 137 degrees] and high hydrophilicity (CA < 10 degrees) was achieved by UV light irradiation and dark storage in alternation.
