Phraseological Units in the Russian Poetry of the 19th-21st Centuries. A Dictionary: An Experience of Lexicographical Systematization of Phraseological Units in Russian Poetry

The dictionary is an unparalleled phraseographic study, which summarizes the experience of analyzing the use of phraseological units in Russian poetry, ways of transforming their meaning and form. Each use of the phraseological unit is considered as an element of the system of poetic text, poetic creativity of its author, his/her idiostyle. The description of phraseological units in Russian poetry presented in the dictionary captures key images in the work of different poets, helps to identify and systematize phraseological symbols representing certain constants of the Russian poetic picture of the world. Each dictionary entry is completed by a historical and etymological commentary.
