摘要
H-1 solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy was used to study intrinsic hydrogen (H) impurities in zinc oxide (ZnO), which play a key role in its n-type conductivity. Two H-1 signals were resolved, and assigned for the first time, to interstitial H species (H-i) and H species substituting for oxygen ions (H-O), with the help from the model compound zinc hydroxide (epsilon-Zn(OH)(2)) and H-1 -> O-17 double resonance NMR spectroscopy.
