摘要
Oral mucositis remains one of the possible side effects of some chemotherapy and radiotherapy regimens. The patients' quality of life can be severely compromised. Nurses should attach great importance to this symptom. Discussions dealing with oral mucositis in daily practice are still often controversial. The current theory- and experience-based principles and recommendations for the management of oral mucositis are presented.
