Design and Research of Communication Circuits Based on Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Servo Controller

摘要
Two communication circuits, CAN and RS-232, are designed for the permanent magnet synchronous motor servo controller in this paper. And two communication circuits are introduced in hardware circuits and software program sections, compared about their advantages and disadvantages in detail. In addition, LABVIEW software is used to build the upper computers of these two communication circuits to exchange data with the servo controller to achieve the purpose of real-time control of the motion state of the permanent magnet synchronous motor. Finally, a small 200W permanent magnet synchronous motor is used as the control object to conduct experimental research. Through the experiments with motor' speed set as 700rpm and motor's current set as 2A, the CAN communication circuit is better than RS-232 communication circuit in data transmission speed, reliability, accuracy and EMI. This provides technical support for reliability of communication of servo motor controller.
