Effect of potassium content in nanocrystalline iron catalysts for ammonia synthesis on their nitriding process

摘要
Two samples of the title catalyst with varying K2O content (0.10 and 0.65%) were treated with NH3 in a tubular reactor (1 atm, 475 degrees C) equipped with a system enabling both thermogravimetric measurements and gas phase anal. to compare the nitriding course. Decreasing the K2O content in the catalyst resulted in an increase in the nitriding degree.
