摘要
This paper overviews reduced rank space-time adaptive processing (STAP) for clutter suppression in airborne early warning (AEW) radars. A new hybrid low dimensional STAP (HSTAP) approach without high implementation cost is also discussed via assigning the number of system's degrees of freedom (DOFs) between spatial and temporal domain reasonably. The clutter rejection performance of HSTAP method is superior to the conventional cascaded space-time processing (CST), which is verified by computer simulations.
