摘要：

Much of the literature published during the review period reported work aiming to improve the detection and management of common mental disorders in primary care, predominantly anxiety and depression. Research also explored factors associated with the onset and persistence of these disorders. A section of this review is devoted to the evaluation of care of psychotic patients and another to important international work.
