摘要：

The new species Bashania aristata of Bambusoideae (Poaceae) from the giant panda's habitat of Mt. Qinling, Shaanxi, China, is described and illustrated. The new species differs from B. fargesii in its fully developed culm sheath auricles and aristate lemmas and from B. qingchenshanensis in its fully developed culm sheath auricles and in its lack of auricle leaf sheaths. Its relationship to the other species of Bashania is discussed along with the status of this genus.
