TNF-alpha and TNF-beta polymorphic features associate with toxic complications in patients after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

摘要
To find out whether patient genotype can influence transplantation outcome TNF-alpha and TNF-beta Nco1 polymorphic features were analysed in patients after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT). It appeared that TNF-alpha and TNF-beta polymorphisms might influence the incidence of toxic. but not aGvHD complications. The severity of toxic complications did depend on conditioning regimen, and was influenced by TNF polymorphic features. Heterozygosity within both studied genes was associated with a higher incidence of severe grade III/IV toxic complications, in patients with haematological malignancies on myeloablative conditioning regimen. TNFB*2 homozygosity was less frequently seen in haematological malignancy patients who presented with grade II-IV toxic lesions.
