摘要
In this paper, the existent studies on machining errors of the thin-walled structure components are reviewed firstly, and then the cutting forces and the machining errors caused by them in high speed milling are analyzed theoretically and experimentally under different cutting parameters. Based on these studies, the principle of selecting optimal cutting parameters in high speed milling of thin-walled structure components are presented. It is shown that under the precondition of ensuring machining precision of the thin-walled structure components, the machining efficiency has been improved greatly using the cutting parameters determined by the principle compared with using the conventional ones.
