摘要
The authors describe novel dispersion variable fibre Bragg grating device using a segmented piezoelectric stack to combat chromatic dispersion. By applying appropriate voltages to the independently controlled constituent segments, it is shown that the dispersion can be varied from similar to 8770 to similar to 940 ps/nm with an increase in bandwidth from similar to 0.03 to similar to 0.32 nm.
