摘要
H-1 NMR and EPR spectroscopic studies show that the iron centers in bis(imino)pyridine iron(II) and bis(imino)pyridine iron(III) olefin polymerization pre-catalysts LFeCl2 and LFeCl3 (L=bis(imino)pyridine) are converted upon treatment with methylaluminoxane (MAO) into ferrous complexes of the type [L(Me)Fe(II)(mu-Me)(2)AlMe2] or [LFe(II)(mu-Me)(2)AlMe2](+)[Me-MAO](-).
