Unique positive FM-AM decomposition of signals

摘要
An analytic signal, observed over an interval of T seconds, is decomposed into a Minimum Phase (AM) and an All-Phase (FM) signal. The former's log-envelope and phase form a Hilbert transform pair while the latter has positive definite instantaneous frequency (IF). An AM-FM demodulator algorithm to achieve the above decomposition is proposed.
