摘要
The total cross-section, astrophysical S-factor, and rate of radiative capture reaction C-12(p, gamma)N-13 are calculated using the potential model. In this work, we take into account the capture of protons through s(1/2) -> p(1/2) and d(3/2) -> p(1/2) single-particle transitions, fine-tune the values of the depth and nuclear radius of the Woods-Saxon potential to achieve better comparison with the measured data. The results for the elastic scattering phase shift, astrophysical S-factor, and rates are compared with the previously reported results of the calculations and experimental data.
