Raman and infrared spectra of the crystalline phosphates Li2xMn0.5-xTi2(PO4)(3) {x = 0, 0.25} were recorded and compared with those of LiTi2(PO4)(3). A factor group analysis of these compounds was performed, and assignments of the P-O stretching and bending modes were made. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
