摘要：

In this paper, we present a bimodal biometric identity assurance system by combining palmprint and face modalities. The Gabor features are extracted from both modalities and combined at the feature level. Kernel Fisher discriminant analysis is performed to obtain the features and thereby to create knowledge base. The experiments are carried for biometric identification and verification on various datasets. The combination of modalities improves the accuracy of results.
