摘要
Cellular automata(CA) has been used in pseudorandom number generation (PRNG) for over a decade. Some studies show that conventional one-dimensional (1-D) CA PRNGs can not generate perfect pseudorandom number sequences. In this paper, we propose a new class of cellular automata, twi-layer cross cellular automata (TLCCA), with specific application to pseudorandom number generation. In TLCCA, we replaced the conventional neighborhoods with a new one in up-layer aim for increasing the behavioral complexity of cells.
