Estimating of yield in the 'golden delicious' apple variety by a visualization of tree canopy

A new approach for visualization of different tree canopies is represented. Based on the different RGB image algorithms the Yield of apple fruits 'Golden Delicious' was forecasted in five orchards planted at two spacing (3,0 x 0,7 In, 2,6 x 0,7 in) and trained to slender spindle as well as solaxe form. In all trails the close correlation wets established between the number of apple fruits and manual measurements, while for most trials the average diameter was underestimated. Since, the forecasting of yield depends on the number and diameter directly in the four-years old orchards (3,0x0,7m) the yield was slightly underestimated (-8% in slender spindle and -6% in solaxe), whereas in the eight-years old orchard (2,6x0,7m) the forecast was overestimated by 4% and 34% respectively.
