摘要：
This study evaluated the clinical significance of transesophageal echocardiographic findings in 245 patients with a recent cerebral ischemia and normal carotid arteries. Atrial septal aneurysm and patent foramen ovale are common findings in patients who have had strokes and have normal carotid arteries.
