In this paper, new beta-NaFeO2@SrFe12O19 magnetic nanocomposite was prepared using co-precipitation route accompanied by thermal decomposition at 950 degrees C and its structural, morphological, optical and magnetic properties investigated by FT-IR, XRD, FE-SEM, EDS, VSM, and TGA. XRD and FT-IR predict the successfully preparation of beta-NaFeO2@SrFe12O19. SEM and EDS represented the well dispersion of SrFe12O19 into beta-NaFeO2 nanoparticles, also agglomeration was happened. VSM show saturation magnetization of 4.19 emu/g with coercivity of 1023 Oe, predicts hard magnetic material with ferromagnetic property. In addition, it was investigated against antibacterial activity. It is active against both Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus strains.
