摘要
The objective of the research is to recognize the potential of ecotourism as an alternative for sustainable development in post-conflict territories, in order to contribute to social recovery and peace building. The methodology used is conclusive mixed, which involved the population that makes up the ecotourism chain and representatives of the mayors in the Chaparral, Ataco and Planadas municipalities of the Tolima department, Colombia. As a result, a favorable perception was obtained for the offer of ecotourism services by the population, the intention to participate in the offer of this type of activities in a community environment of inclusion and reconciliation, with an approach that converges in the dynamics of development. sustainable. In conclusion, it is added that ecotourism is an activity that can promote in the areas that were most affected by the conflict, an environment for the recovery of the social fabric and the consolidation of peace as a strategy in the Colombian post-conflict, identifying the importance of creating programs that strengthen and promote this type of project in the municipalities.
