摘要
In Society 5.0 humans have access to intelligent tools, enabling them to create and capture value directly in new communities, networks, and ecosystems. In this study, we investigate the benefits of such value-driven ecosystems. We share our perspective on how a deeper understanding of human engagement behaviour through richer data will be foundational in enabling the reality of the Society 5.0 vision. Learning from our Society 4.0 social and economic deficiencies exposed during the Covid-19 outbreak and building upon many transformational solutions created during that time, we detail how by combining data with AI and machine learning, organizations are spreading intelligence from the core to the edge to turn data into action and action into value. Finally, we describe key challenges in bringing the prospect of Society 5.0 to life and potential paths to achieve it.
