A comparison of traditional and adaptive control strategies for systems with time delay

摘要
A recently developed tuning method is compared to an adaptive Smith Predictor control strategy. The robustness of each method is considered for time-varying plant parameters. Examples with simulations are provided to compare the methods and present conclusions on the advantages and disadvantages of each. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
