Incoherent method of hologram formation

摘要
The possibility of hologram formation without the use of interference is shown. For this purpose, a light wave scattered by an object is linearly polarized and transmitted through an optically active medium and a polarizer placed at its output. The intensity distribution formed at the output of the polarizer and describing all the points of an object is similar to the intensity distribution in the Gabor zone grating. Each ring of this grating, a dark or a bright one, is a geometric locus of rays with equal angles of rotation of the plane of polarization. A simplified version of the theory and a schematic diagram of the system for the realization of the method are presented.
