摘要
We describe a facile route for the synthesis of Cu2O cubes using CuO as the precursor and hydrazine hydrate as the reducing agent. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations indicate that the Cu2O products are composed of cubes with an edge length of 0.7-1.2 mu m. This method is surfactant-free, and well-dispersed Cu2O cubes can be obtained through this route. The presence of small amounts of ions in reaction solution has a great influence on the morphology of Cu2O products. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
