The Tzitzeica equation: A Backlund transformation interpreted as truncated Painleve expansion

摘要
It is shown that the overdetermined system of equations obtained by truncating the Painleve expansion for the classical Tzitzeica equation admits a solution which defines a Backlund transformation.
