摘要
Unexpectedly high corrosion rates in a number of recovery boiler superheaters have been attributed to the composition of saltcake deposits. Potassium, carbonate and chloride influence the melting point of deposits, and chloride affects the proportion of molten phase. The effects of saltcake behavior are discussed in relation to cases of recovery boiler superheater corrosion.in which the presence of molten deposits was a major factor.
