摘要
The phase equilibrium of the Fe-Mn-Al ternary system plays an important role in development of cryogenic alloys and heat-resistant steels. In the present work, the isothermal sections of Fe-Mn-Al system were calculated at different temperatures from 1500 degrees C to 400 degrees C at an interval of 100 degrees C. The calculated results indicate that there is a three-phase region (alpha+gamma+beta Mn) from 1000 degrees C to 400 degrees C. The position of the three-phase region (alpha+gamma+beta Mn) moves to the lower Mn content region with temperature decreasing. Besides, the relative experiments also processed by use of optical microscopy and electron probe after heat treatment for equilibrium condition.
