摘要
NiFe2O4, ZnFe2O4, Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 spinet samples have been synthesized by conventional solid state reaction technique. Powder X-ray diffraction and Rietveld refinement revealed that the samples were single Spinel phase with space group fd3m. The average crystalline size (D), lattice constant (a), X-ray density (rho(x)), measured density (rho(m)) and Porosity (P) of prepared samples were determined from XRD data. The dc electrical resistivity (rho) was measured as a function of temperature. The variations of rho were explained on the basis of Verwey and de Bohr mechanism. The value of DC resistivity found to increase with increase Zn concentration.
