摘要：

GUILLAIN-BARRE IS AN ACUTE, rapidly progressive, inflammatory polyneuropathy which is most often, but not always, characterized by muscular weakness and mild distal sensory loss, It is the most frequently acquired demyelinating neuropathy, affecting one person in 100,000 each year and must be diagnosed quickly to initiate proper treatment and decrease potential life-threatening sequelae. It is important to remember that low back pain can be caused by organic conditions as well as musculoskeletal ones.
