摘要
A compact octa-band antenna for LTE mobile handset with the size of 75mmx4mmx6mm is proposed and studied in this paler. The proposed antenna consists of two branches and a match circuit that includes a lumped capacitance of 3.6pF and a shorting strip. The advantages of the proposed antenna is that octa-band can be covered with only 4mm ground clearance. The simulated -6dB impedance bandwidths are 280MHz (685-965MHz) and 1040MHz (1680-2710MHz) at the lower and higher bands. The simulated efficiencies are 62%-80% and 54%-77% at the lower and higher bands, respectively. The 3D patterns are also shown in this paper.
