We present a case of vascular compromise from an intracapsular hip fracture, which has not previously been documented. Management involved Austin-Moore hemiarthroplasty and arterial repair with long saphenous vein patch. We emphasise the importance of considering such complications due to potential limb loss from acute arterial insufficiency.
