摘要
in this paper a 2D deterministic satellite propagation model in street canyon is developed in Matlab. The propagation model is based on ray tracing and Uniform Theory of Diffraction (UTD). The path-loss level is compared with 3D intelligent ray tracing (IRT) tool for satellite wave propagation developed by Winprop. A maximum average path-loss of 10.127 dB shows that a 2D model can be efficient for real-time applications that needs short computation time.
