摘要：

The investigation presented was carried out in the Municipality of the Canton San Pedro de Huaca, with garbage collectors. The objective was to develop an educational plan by analyzing the risk factors present in garbage collection. Personnel training was carried out on biosecurity, risk factors and diseases at work. A qualitative - quantitative investigation was carried out. Data was collected through the survey directed to the collecting personnel, to determine the knowledge of workers. When executing the investigation, a large percentage of workers who are unaware of the subject and do not apply biosafety standards, do not use protocols that are beneficial when carrying out their work. At the end of the investigation, personnel with knowledge of biosafety standards were recruited to reduce risk factors.
