New measuring system for power harmonics

摘要
Artificial neural network is used for measuring the harmonics in electric power network in this paper. The band-pass filters in general analog parallel harmonics measuring apparatus are replaced by a multi-layer feed forward neural network, thus forming a new measuring system for power harmonics, the MLFNN one. Each high order harmonic component in nonsinusoidal period current can be measured by it. The simulating results illustrate the feasibility and the validity of the proposed MLFNN harmonics measuring approach, and the performance of MLFNN measuring system.
