摘要：
The global demand for palm oil is growing day by day and palm oil companies have been taking necessary actions to meet this demand. In this paper, a brief overview of palm oil plantations in Indonesia and their environmental and social impacts is given. Moreover, the approach of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Principles & Criteria (2007) to provide for a more sustainable solution for palm oil plantations is analyzed and discussed.
