Effect of Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Protecting Coating on Concrete

摘要
A new organic-inorganic hybrid compound used as concrete protecting coating was introduced. It formed a compact water proof layer when sprayed on concrete surface. Meanwhile, it filled into concrete inner space for hardening, which was effective for improving the property of water retention, impermeability and wearability of concrete. The protecting mechanism of concrete was analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The pore size distribution of specimens were investigated by the N(2) adsorption-desorption and pore size distribution (PSD) analyzer. The micrographs of concrete cross section disclosed the microstructure by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
